What you'd use it for

Turning a plain-language description or a screenshot into a working app with a real backend, database, logins and payments already wired in, without hiring a developer.

  • Build a live, working web or mobile app from a plain-language description or a screenshot of an existing app
  • Get a real database, user login with Google or Apple, and Stripe-based payments or subscriptions built into the app without configuring them by hand
  • Ask the AI to wire in a third-party integration rather than reading that API's documentation yourself
  • Publish the result to a custom domain, or submit a mobile build to the App Store
  • Run several builds in parallel with multiple agents and automated visual QA, on the Max plan

The verdict

Create.xyz — now selling itself on its own site as Anything — is genuinely fast: describe an app and a live version appears within about a minute, already wired up with a database, login and payments. That speed comes at the cost of a generated codebase you did not write, on a credit meter whose real cost per app is hard to estimate before you have built a few things. It suits someone who wants a working internal tool or a first real version of a product without hiring a developer, not someone who needs a polished, natively built mobile app or a fixed monthly bill they can predict in advance.

What it costs

Tier Price For Includes
Free $0/month Trying the builder on a public project. Community support, unlimited public projects, unlimited collaborators.
Pro $19/month, or less billed annually (saves $60/year) Someone shipping a real internal tool rather than a public demo. 20,000 monthly credits, private projects, branding removed, custom domains, unlimited projects.
Max $199/month, or less billed annually (saves $480/year) Heavier or parallel AI building. 220,000 monthly credits, multiple agents running in parallel, visual QA with a computer-use agent, 1M-token context, 150GB storage, priority support.

What you need to start

  • An email address to create an account
  • A Pro plan ($19/month) if you need the project to stay private, use a custom domain, or drop Anything's own branding

A first live preview appears within about a minute of one prompt; a real, publishable app still takes an afternoon or more of iterating and fixing.

Your first run A first working preview, with a real database and backend already attached, typically appears within about a minute of describing what you want in a single message; a publishable version still takes further prompting and testing.

Where it breaks

The product now presents itself on its own site as 'Anything' rather than Create.xyz, though the domain, the product and the pricing are unchanged — expect the on-screen branding not to match the name you searched for.

Browser-based.

When not to use it

Not for anyone who needs a native iOS or Android app — the mobile output runs on Expo and React Native rather than Swift or Kotlin, and Anything's own builder app has twice been pulled from Apple's App Store in 2026 over how it executes generated code. Also not for anyone who needs a fixed, predictable monthly bill, since credits burn at a rate tied to how much the AI has to generate and iterate.

Create.xyz belongs to the “prompt-to-app” category: describe what you want built, in text or from a screenshot of an existing app, and get back working code rather than a mockup — deployed, not just generated. What’s kept it visible on Product Hunt and social feeds since 2024 is speed: a working first version can appear in the same session you describe it in.

The AI does the initial build and can be asked to make changes afterward, but nothing keeps running on its own once the app exists: it acts only when you prompt it again, never unattended.

A rebrand worth knowing about

The product now calls itself “Anything” on its own homepage, while still living at create.xyz and keeping the same pricing structure underneath. If you land on the site expecting to see “Create” and see “Anything” instead, that’s the same product — worth a moment’s pause rather than assuming you’ve reached the wrong page.

The mobile story has a real risk in it

Create can build a mobile app and you can submit the build to the App Store. The thing to know before planning around that: the vendor’s own builder app was itself removed from Apple’s App Store twice during 2026, over Apple’s rule on executing dynamically generated code — which is precisely what a prompt-to-app tool does.

That does not mean an app you build here cannot ship. It does mean the category sits close to a rule Apple enforces unpredictably, and the output is Expo and React Native rather than Swift or Kotlin, so a rejection is not something you can quickly rewrite your way out of. If App Store distribution is the point of the project rather than a nice-to-have, treat that as a risk to test early with a throwaway build, not to discover at launch.

What the credits actually mean

Pro’s 20,000 monthly credits and Max’s 220,000 aren’t a number most people can translate into “how many apps” without building a few first — credit consumption depends on how much the AI has to generate and iterate. Max’s parallel-agent feature is the real differentiator for anyone building more than one thing at a time; Pro is priced for one person, one project, at a time.
