Surfe
Pulls LinkedIn contacts and verified emails or phone numbers straight into your CRM, without exporting a spreadsheet and re-importing it.
What you'd use it for
Turning a LinkedIn profile into a synced CRM contact with a verified email or phone number, without leaving the tab to do it.
- Add a LinkedIn contact to Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive or Copper in one click, synced both ways
- Find and verify a prospect's work email or mobile number from their LinkedIn profile
- Search LinkedIn for companies and people matching your ideal customer profile
- Push a found contact straight into Outreach, Salesloft, Lemlist or HubSpot Sequences
- Log LinkedIn messages against the matching CRM record automatically
The verdict
Surfe is connective tissue between LinkedIn and a CRM you already run, not a replacement for either. The free tier is generous enough to prove the sync actually works before you pay for it, and the jump to Pro is mostly about sequence integrations and credit volume rather than a change in what the tool fundamentally does. It suits a sales team already prospecting on LinkedIn with a CRM in place; it has nothing to offer anyone whose leads start somewhere else.

What you need to start
- A Chrome or Chromium-based browser to run the extension
- A LinkedIn account to prospect from
- An account on a supported CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive or Copper) to sync into
Under a minute to install the extension; a few more minutes to connect a CRM, and the first contact syncs immediately after that.
Your first run Installing the Chrome extension takes under a minute, and connecting a CRM (an API key or a login, depending which one) adds a few more; after that a Surfe widget appears on every LinkedIn profile you open, ready to sync a verified contact with one click.
Where it breaks
A browser extension that runs on top of LinkedIn and your CRM's web interface, rather than a separate app you open on its own.
First entry in this reference. There is no previous check to compare it against.
When not to use it
Not for anyone whose leads come from somewhere other than LinkedIn — a trade show list, an inbound form, a purchased dataset — since Surfe only enriches contacts you have already found there. And because every synced contact is personal data pulled from a real person's LinkedIn profile, GDPR obligations for holding and processing it sit with you as the buyer, not with Surfe.
The manual version of what Surfe does is familiar to anyone who has done outbound sales: find someone on LinkedIn, guess or buy their email, copy their details into a spreadsheet, then re-key that spreadsheet into a CRM. Surfe collapses that into a browser extension that sits on top of LinkedIn and your CRM at the same time, pulling a verified contact across with one click.
The free tier is real enough to test the workflow properly — 20 email finds a month is not much, but it is enough to see whether the CRM sync actually behaves the way you need before paying for it.
What the paid tiers actually buy
The jump from Free to Essential is mostly about credit volume and full bidirectional sync rather than new capability; Pro adds the integrations that matter for a team running structured outbound — Salesloft, Outreach, Lemlist — plus lookalike account discovery once you have a list of accounts that convert.
Where it stops being for you
Surfe is built around LinkedIn as the source of contacts. If your prospecting starts somewhere else — a trade show list, an inbound form, a purchased dataset — this tool has nothing to enrich until that data already exists somewhere Surfe can search. It is a bridge between two systems you already use, not a lead source on its own.
