⏰ Hand your ChatGPT task to someone else
Set it up once, then it runs on their account instead of yours.
Two-minute read.
One thing to do this week: share a ChatGPT scheduled task with the person who should be running it. Six lines after that you can skip, and one link worth clicking for no reason.
CHATGPT ⏰
Hand the task to the person who does the job
What changed. OpenAI added sharing to ChatGPT’s scheduled tasks on 25 August 2026. Someone you work with can take a task you built, connect their own Gmail, and run their own copy. (OpenAI release notes, 25 August 2026)
What it means at your size. You already wrote the prompt that turns last week’s enquiries into a Monday summary. It runs on your account against your inbox, which makes you the bottleneck for a job you solved months ago. Sharing moves it to the person who owns that work, on their apps.
The first step. Open Scheduled in ChatGPT and set up one job you repeat: a Monday summary of new enquiries, or a Friday list of unpaid invoices. Let it run once, read the output, then share it with whoever owns that job.
The limitation. Free and Go cap at three active tasks, once a day, and Free cannot set an exact delivery time. You pick morning, afternoon or night. Plus gets five tasks and real clock times, Pro fifteen. Triggers that fire on a new email instead of a clock need Plus or above. We have not run this ourselves, so this describes what OpenAI documents.
