Anyword
Writes marketing copy and scores each version on predicted performance before you publish, using your own past campaign data.
What you'd use it for
Generating multiple ad, email, or landing-page variants and knowing which one is predicted to convert best before you spend money running it.
- Generate and score several copy variants for the same ad, email, or landing page before you publish any of them
- Keep one brand voice profile so generated lines stay on-tone and on-message across campaigns
- Draft longer pieces with the Blog Wizard rather than assembling a post paragraph by paragraph
- Generate copy inside other web forms and tools using the Chrome extension
- On Business tier and above, train the scoring model on your own uploaded ad and email performance data instead of a generic model
The verdict
The scoring is the point, and it is only as good as what it is scored against: Starter and Data-Driven grade your copy against Anyword's general database, not your own results. That is fine for a solo marketer who wants a second opinion on five headlines, but the tool's real case only opens up on Business tier, once you have enough of your own campaign data to make custom-trained scoring worth the higher, custom price. Anyone comparing this to a general writing assistant is comparing it to the wrong thing.
What it costs
| Tier | Price | For | Includes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $39/month billed yearly, or $49/month billed monthly | Solo marketers and freelancers wanting on-brand copy backed by performance scoring. | 50-100 performance predictions/month, 1 seat, 1 brand voice, unlimited copy generation, Chrome extension. |
| Data-Driven | $79/month billed yearly, or $99/month billed monthly | Marketing teams that want real-time performance scoring as they manually edit copy, not just at generation time. | Everything in Starter, 100-175 predictions/month, 3 seats, real-time predictions for manual edits. |
| Business | Custom pricing | Teams wanting AI trained on their own best-performing past messages across channels. | 250+ predictions/month, custom-built AI models, A/B testing, roles and permissions, priority support. |
| Enterprise | Custom pricing | Organisations needing a private model, SSO, and full API access. | 500+ predictions/month, enterprise-grade security, private LLM, custom integrations, dedicated CSM. |

What you need to start
- An email address or Google account, no credit card, for the 7-day free trial
- Your own ad and email channel accounts connected, only if you want scoring trained on your own data, which starts at the Business tier
Minutes to a free account producing scored copy; connecting your own campaign data for personalised predictions needs the Business tier and a sales conversation, not a self-serve setup.
Your first run You describe the audience, tone, and goal for one piece of copy, and Anyword returns a set of variants each scored 0-100 for predicted performance in the same session, so the first scored batch takes minutes rather than a setup project.
Where it breaks
Browser-based, with a Chrome extension and a Blog Wizard for longer-form content; connects to marketing channels on paid tiers to learn from past campaign performance.
First entry in this reference. There is no previous check to compare it against.
When not to use it
Skip this if you just want a general-purpose writing assistant for occasional copy — a cheaper tool without the scoring layer does that job. It also suits ad and email spend poorly if you have little of it yet, since the entry tiers score against a generic model rather than your own results, and the personalised version is gated behind custom Business pricing.
Most AI copy tools stop at generating text. Anyword’s distinct move is scoring each variant it writes against a predicted-performance number before you spend money putting it in front of anyone — an attempt to answer “which of these five headlines will actually convert” rather than just producing five headlines.
That scoring gets sharper as you climb tiers, because the higher plans connect to your actual marketing channels and learn from campaigns you’ve already run, rather than scoring against a generic model of what performs well. Starter is generation with light scoring; Business and Enterprise are where the prediction engine starts to know your audience specifically, at the cost of moving to custom pricing and a sales conversation.
The 7-day free trial caps at 2,500 words, enough to see whether the predicted-performance framing is useful for your workflow before committing. Seats are capped tightly on the lower tiers — Starter includes exactly one — so a team evaluating this needs to budget for seats separately from the headline price.
It is a copywriting tool with an analytics layer, not a full content platform: its own Blog Wizard covers longer pieces, while a dedicated editor like Grammarly is the better choice for line-level polish afterward.
