What you'd use it for

Trying GPT, Claude, Gemini and dozens of other models side by side, plus basic document, image and agent tools, without paying for each one separately.

  • Chat with 100+ models (GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek and others) from one interface and switch models mid-conversation
  • Upload a PDF or spreadsheet, ask questions about it, and get charts generated from the CSV or Excel data
  • Generate images and short videos from a text prompt across several models
  • Build a simple chatbot or always-on agent without writing code
  • Generate and run small pieces of code in a built-in code playground

The verdict

ChatLLM is the cheapest way to put more than a hundred models behind one login, which is genuinely useful while you're still working out which model suits a given task. The document, image and code tools layered on top work, but none go as deep as the first-party app they stand in for, and the credit system that gates agents and code generation is vague enough that reviewers regularly report running out mid-task. It suits someone doing a lot of ad hoc model comparison; it is not a substitute for a team that has already settled on one model and wants that model's own deep integrations.

What it costs

Tier Price For Includes
ChatLLM (individual) $7 for the first month, then $10/month billed monthly Someone who wants to try multiple frontier models without multiple subscriptions. Access to 100+ AI models in one chat interface, plus document, presentation and image generation tools.

What you need to start

  • An account (Google, Apple, Microsoft or email sign-in)
  • A credit card, charged at signup even for the discounted first month

A few minutes to a working account and first chat; there is no free trial before the card is charged.

Your first run Sign up with Google, Apple, Microsoft or email and you are in the chat interface immediately, able to pick a model and start a conversation within a couple of minutes; the document, image and agent tools sit in the same interface from the first session.

Where it breaks

Only the individual ChatLLM tier's price ($10/month, discounted to $7 for the first month) is published on the page fetched. Abacus.AI runs a much larger enterprise platform (ChatLLM Enterprise, forecasting, anomaly detection) alongside this consumer product, and that side of the business is quoted separately with no public figure. Teams pricing was not found.

Browser-based chat interface, plus API access via the broader Abacus.AI platform.

When not to use it

Not for someone who has already picked a model and wants its deepest integration - Claude's desktop file access or ChatGPT's Advanced Voice Mode aren't here. Also not for anyone who wants to see usage limits before hitting them - the credit system is opaque enough that people report running out during agent or code tasks with no warning.

ChatLLM’s pitch is consolidation: rather than a separate subscription for ChatGPT, Claude and a third model for whichever task the first two are weak at, one $10-a-month plan gives access to more than a hundred models in a single interface, plus a set of document, slide and image tools layered on top.

The tradeoff is depth versus breadth. None of the individual model integrations here go as deep as using that model’s own first-party app — no equivalent of Claude’s desktop file access or ChatGPT’s Advanced Voice Mode — but for someone who just wants to compare answers across models or isn’t sure which one fits a given task, the single low price removes the friction of deciding upfront.

Where the free-riding stops

The $10 price is genuinely aggressive next to a single model subscription, which is the whole reason it gets attention in roundups. What it does not include is the deeper platform Abacus.AI actually sells to enterprises — ChatLLM Enterprise, revenue forecasting, anomaly detection — which sits behind a sales conversation with no public number.

Where it fits next to the alternatives

Against paying for ChatGPT or Claude directly, ChatLLM wins on price and model breadth and loses on integration depth — pick the direct subscription once you know which model you actually rely on daily, and ChatLLM while you’re still figuring that out.
