Where it breaks

Browser, desktop and mobile apps; a bot can join scheduled video calls automatically via calendar sync, or you can record ad hoc without one.

First entry in this reference. There is no previous check to compare it against.

Notta is a meeting-notes tool built with an unusually strong footprint outside North America — 58 languages, real-time bilingual transcription that shows two languages side by side as people talk, and a customer base concentrated in Asia-Pacific where that matters more than it does for most English-only competitors.

Once connected to your calendar, it sends a bot into scheduled video calls automatically and turns the recording into a transcript and summary without you starting anything — which is the difference between this and a tool you have to remember to open. You can also record or upload audio manually when there’s no calendar event to hook into.

What the free tier actually covers

120 minutes a month sounds generous until you notice the 3-minute cap per conversation — that limit alone pushes most real meeting use onto Pro. Pro removes the per-conversation cap (up to 5 hours) and roughly fifteen-x’s the monthly minutes; Business removes the minutes cap entirely.

Compared to the field

Against Otter.ai or Fireflies, the language breadth is Notta’s real differentiator — if your meetings mix languages, this is built for that in a way most English-first tools are not. For teams that want the notetaker wired directly into task creation and CRM records rather than just transcription, Circleback or Granola are worth the comparison.
